WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS
LYN HAVEN FIRE DISTRICT NO. 1
LYNDONVILLE, VERMONT
Heath Construction Begins Work in Early October 2001
System water pressure was virtually non-existent during the day for the 38 users on the Lyn Haven Water system. The 30 year old 1" diameter distribution system was nearly plugged with calcium carbonate allowing only a small trickle to reach the customers.
Dufresne & Associates, PC worked with Duane Gilman, a Fire District volunteer, to define a complete replacement project for about $1.00 per day per user. Construction began in October and water service was initiated in December 2001.
